I study with Fran on Skype one hour a week. He is a talented, conscientious and well organised teacher. He obviously loves his mother tongue yet is patient and helpful as I struggle with the imperfect subjunctive and much else besides. He gives me written feedback and homework exercises after each lesson. His lessons are enjoyable, and of the highest calibre. We talk of much else, besides grammar and vocabulary. Thank-you Fran.

I first met Fran when I undertook a two week Spanish Immersion course in Málaga. His classes were always fun and focused on developing your ability to speak with confidence and ease. His teaching style is supportive and he builds gradually but surely on your current abilities, identifying and strengthening areas of weakness and broadening your vocabulary and grammar so that you can express your ideas more clearly and comprehensively. His knowledge and experience of how to effectively teach Spanish were obvious at the end of the course - so much so that I booked regular online lessons with him. I continue with the lessons and my knowledge of the language has improved vastly. Most importantly for me, my ability to speak Spanish and convey my ideas with fluidity and confidence has far exceeded my expectations - gracias a Fran. If you want to really improve your Spanish I highly recommend Fran's lessons.

When I subscribed my 12 year old daughter and her friend to a Spanish summer course in Málaga I asked for the teacher who is positive, energetic and has good contact with kids. That was how we met Fran! He asked me right away about girls' interests and hobbies. Though both girls didn't speak much English and knew few words of Spanish, Fran was able to 'untie' their tongues very quickly relating to their hobbies, well known Polish people and introducing lots of interactive games during the class. He also invited them for 'Tejeringos' to the local Café and helped organize a visit to a Spanish family who had a son their age. These were good memories which made a positive impact on my daughter's further learning. Since last year she is continuing Spanish lessons with Fran online. Fran has become a trustworthy friend especially during Corona months when lots of teens felt socially isolated. Having a Friend in Málaga with whom she could speak regularly has been very supportive to her. She enjoys small talks with Fran's three year old son as well. For her learning Spanish with Fran has opened the door not only to a new language but also to a house where a real Spanish family live their everyday life, and these are people with whom she has a real and regular connection.
